Dr. Sharma completed her family medicine residency training at Jackson Park Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago in 2010. Dr. Sharma since then has worked at private hospital, as well as community based health care both in Illinois and North Carolina.
Dr. Sharma is board certified in Family Medicine and a member of American Academy of Family Physicians. She enjoys the broad spectrum of care that family medicine provides.
As a Family Practitioner Dr. Sharma emphasizes the preventative aspect of medicine, has a special interest in mental health and diabetes, and enjoys exploring different treatment approaches based on individual needs and circumstances. Dr. Sharma strongly believes open communication and strong doctor-patient relationships are the key to managing any health ailment.
Dr. Sharma loves traveling, reading, and trying out new recipes. When not at work she loves spending time with her family enjoying outdoor activities.
